PRESS RELEASE May 04, 2005
Access Energy Announces Three Renewable Energy Projects

Access Energy’s latest projects located in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin will provide in excess of 15 megawatts of clean energy

Park City, Utah (May 4, 2005)—Access Energy, an emerging leader in the renewable energy industry, is developing three renewable energy projects at landfills in Whitewater and Muskego Wisconsin, and Berks County, Pennsylvania. These projects combined will initially produce in excess of 15 megawatts of clean energy and will provide the equivalent environmental benefit of taking approximately 148,000 cars off the road or avoiding use of nearly 2 million barrels of oils.

This announcement brings the number of Access Energy projects to four, which is unprecedented according to company president and CEO Robert McClenachan. “The company’s early success is directly related to its focus on landfill and biomass projects. These projects have proven to be a viable and long-term alternative to traditional fossil fuels.” Access Energy is one of only a few renewable energy companies that specialize in converting biomass and landfill gas to clean energy.

Access Energy’s latest projects include the following:

Emerald Park Energy, LLC—Wisconsin
Emerald Park Energy, LLC is located in Muskego, Wisconsin, Emerald Park Energy’s initial energy capacity is up to 4.5 megawatts. It is expected to be complete by year-end 2005 and remain operational for 15 years. The landfill is owned by Onyx Waste Services, Inc., one of the largest solid waste management companies in North America,

Valley Meadows Energy, LLC—Wisconsin
Valley Meadows Energy is located in Whitewater, Wisconsin. The landfill has the capacity to produce up to 900 kilowatts of power, and is expected to be complete by summer of 2005 and remain operational for at least 15 years. The landfill is also owned by Onyx Waste Services, Inc.,

Pioneer Crossing Energy, LLC—Pennsylvania
Pioneer Crossing Energy, LLC will be developed to produce as much as 7.2 megawatts of energy. However, the project could be expanded to produce as much as 14.4 megawatts. Pioneer Crossing is expected to be complete by third quarter 2006 and remain operational for at least 20 years.

Access will convert methane gas into electricity at each of these projects. This will provide energy needs to thousands of area residents while at the same time reducing the effects of greenhouse gas emissions. When fully mature, these three projects are expected to produce approximately 25 megawatts of clean energy and the environmental benefits will increase proportionately.

Access Energy is developing these four projects with its strategic G.A.S Energy Technology, Inc., one of Europe’s largest renewable energy companies. G.A.S develops, owns and operates power projects through Europe and has installed more than 300 net megawatts and owns approximately 100 megawatts of renewable energy electric generating capacity.
